Metro Redux is one of those HD remake compilations that launched at a budget price, but dropped quite rapidly in price soon afterwards. Since then however, its market value seems to have shot back up, with the PS4 version now costing around 3x as much as what it used to – which wasn’t even that long ago.
In their review, Gamespot argued that “Metro Redux is a terrific package that combines two bleak games into a single cohesive whole”. This was also supported by members of Neogaf who believed that “Redux is one of the greatest collections ever and anyone who doesn’t own them yet should buy them. Fantastically atmospheric, tense games.”
So with all of that taken into account, you could do a lot worse than pick up 4A Games’s offering, especially if you’re a fan of single player first person shooter games.
