It seems that the price has gone up to £37.85, which is still a good price all things considering.
EA had their Press Conference last night, and one of the games shown was DICE’s upcoming Battlefield 1 game. Now, I know that DICE don’t have the best track record when it comes to product launches, but their latest military shooter does look spectacular in all of it’s Frostbite engine glory. And to prove it, check out the trailer below:
To be honest, it’s going to be so hard this year to not blow all of one’s money on videogames. And with E3 having not even started yet, we’re already getting tantalising glimpses of what gamers can expect – such as Battlefield 1, Mass Effect: Andromeda, Titanfall 2, Prey, Dishonored 2, Skyrim Special Edition…
SIDE NOTE: As someone who has already bought Fallout 4 and Doom, and with Eurogamer also reporting that Wolfenstein 2 and The Evil Within 2 are rumoured for E3 as well, it sure does look as if Bethesda might just end up becoming my favourite AAA games publisher. Too bad they don’t make games for Nintendo, because you know… to be this good, their games would actually need to be running on hardware that isn’t a glorified toaster oven #sickburn.
Anyway, that’s enough about Nintendo and their anti-consumerist business strategies (including the DOA NX). Battlefield 1 is a great price for only £34.85 (although it’s worth bearing in mind that money is taken from your card 28 days after the pre-order).
